About Us

Karin A. Bilich founded SmartAuthorSites.com in 2006. She continues to work directly with her clients to create the best website possible for each individual author's goals and objectives.

Why SmartAuthorSites.com Is Unique...

Unlike traditional web design companies, or replicated web templates, Karin and her team of professional web designers will build a unique website that captures the look and feel of your book; then go above and beyond the design phase to help you develop content, keep your site fresh, ensure that potential readers find your site, and more.

Together you will decide on your goals for the website... Karin will put together a comprehensive, personalized web strategy to ensure you attain them.

About Our Team

Karin A. Bilich, Founder and President
Karin has been working in web development, strategy, and copywriting since 1998. She entered the world of book publishing in 2003 when she became the Webmaster for PublishersWeekly.com, LibraryJournal.com, and SchoolLibraryJournal.com. It was there that she gained a unique perspective on book publishing, book sales, book reviews, and more. In 2005, Karin became a full-time freelancer to meet the needs of authors like you and, shortly after, created SmartAuthorSites.com. She's since worked with over 100 authors on developing websites and marketing books online and prides herself on personalizing each site for a specific author's needs.
