Well, the time has finally come. The New York Times is finally including e-books in their bestseller lists. After all, if they’re going to categorize hard cover and paperback separately, it’s about time they recognized e-books as its own book format.
Check out the NY Times website on Friday. That’s when this week’s e-book bestseller lists (one for fiction and one for nonfiction) will be posted. There will also be a combined print and eBook bestseller list. The same lists will then be in Sunday’s print edition of the paper.
The NY Times has also offered a sneak peek of these new lists. We’re told that Laura Hillenbrand’s Unbroken will be number one on the nonfiction list and James Patterson‘s Tick Tock will top the fiction list.
Welcome to the 21st century, NY Times!
